About Principal Point’s founder and owner

I’m Emily, a metro Boston-based FAA Part 107-certified drone pilot, aerial videographer, and digital photographer with a background in communications and environmental policy.

I bring an eye for visual storytelling to my work, and have partnered with leading higher education institutions, environmental nonprofits, boutique hotels and international eco-lodges, real estate developers, and other businesses and organizations to help them reach their target audiences with compelling drone and ground-level photos and videos. (You can read testimonials from satisfied clients.)

I can also navigate federal and local drone regulations, ensuring that our shoot is compliant with the latest rules in an evolving climate for drone operations.

My gear includes two high-end drones, a full-frame mirrorless digital camera, and a range of lenses from telephoto to wide-angle and macro. The wider Principal Point Photography team has a variety of professional gear available for use in your shoots.

I donate at least 10% of my profits to environmental conservation nonprofits.

My team and I provide prompt turnaround of high-quality images, including aerial photos and videos, with attention to detail and to clients’ needs.

We are a woman-owned and operated business.
